Family Update...

It has been a while since the last post because things have been SUPER busy and ever so changing! Xoie is still cooking...YAY! We have made it to 31.1 weeks and still going strong. I am now in the hospital for good...until delivery at least! I have come to accept this because there is a light at the end of our tunnel...only a few weeks left and this is the best place for Xoie and I if something seems to go wrong! We got put in the hospital for good this time for not one big thing but a lot of little things. Xoie is doing great...thank goodness! She is growing every day and at this point, every day is better than the last for her! I have sonograms on Tuesday's and Friday's and get monitored 2-3 times a day in my room to listen to her strong little heartbeat! We are playing the waiting game now and I will keep everyone posted if things change! Please keep the thoughts and prayers coming our way...it is what keeps us going everyday!

Xander is doing GREAT too! He is getting so big! He is starting to repeat everything he hears and making up his own words that only he knows what he is saying...we smile, knod and pretend that we know exactly what he is saying! He seems to think that we are the funniest two people ever!! Mitch is trying to work full-time, take care of Xander and come and see me every free chance he has. He is doing an AMAZING job at keeping everything together and going strong! Xander and I are the two luckiest people ever to have Mitch in our lives!!!!!!!!! We keep asking Xander if he is ready to have a sister and he laughs. He doesn't really understand what is about to happen, but we expect him to do just fine and be the best big brother! Wish us luck over the next few weeks! We are going to need it! I will post more updates as they arise!

Take care and God bless...

Hello!!!

Sorry it has been so long since I have updated the blog. We have been super busy with life.
Just a little pregnancy update...Both Mommy and Xoie are doing great! We have made it to almost 28 weeks and still going strong. I am currently at home on 100% strict bed rest. We see the doctor's every Tuesday and now HomeHealth is coming to our house twice a week too. In other words, we are being watched very closely. My doctor is taking these precautions because of my history with having Xander so early (he was born at 33 weeks by c-section). She is trying to prevent and prolong this pregnancy as long as possible. The best place for Xoie is in my tummy and we are doing everything, I mean everything, possible to keep her there and us at home!!! We will keep you posted as we are able or things change!

All About Xander...he is doing great! He is getting so big! He started walking or should I say running! It seems like he changes before our eyes everyday! While I am on bed rest, he is spending a lot of time with his Daddy! He loves it...I am not sure which one loves it more, him or his Daddy!!! Mitch is the most amazing dad ever...he is Mr. Mom, Super Dad and Happy Husband all wrapped up in one outstanding man! Both Xander and I are lucky to have such a devoted man in our lives...I count my blessings everyday!!!

Our families have also been Super Helpful over the last few months! We are lucky to have each and everyone of them in our lives too...we can call at the drop of a hat and any one of them would be here in a flash! THANK YOU so much for helping us during this difficult time!

Here are a few pictures of Xander over the last few weeks. I will post Easter pictures and some pictures of Xoie's developing nursery soon!

Xander helping his Daddy do yard work on a very beautiful Spring day!
Playing with Daddy at the park!

Happy boy!!!

He wouldn't look at the camera. The sun was too bright! I love this picture in the BlueBonnets. They never bloomed last year...we waited for them this year!

Xander with his cousins. I LOVE this picture! He loves these "Big" kids and they love him too!

Tucker Lee Robertson

Our newest nephew has arrived! Mitch's brother Travis, wife Alaina and daughter Rylie welcomed their newest family member, Tucker Lee Robertson, into the world today! He arrived at 12:51 p.m. weighing in at 8lbs 2oz and was 20 inches long! Both Mommy and baby are doing GREAT! We are very sad that we were not able to be there today, but we are looking forward to seeing all of them sometime soon! Nashville, TN is a long 12 hours away and the trip is a little to tough for me to handle right now! Nana and Papaw are sending us pictures frequently! Tucker seems to look just like his Mommy! Here is a picture of the Tucker Lee Robertson...and his Mommy and Daddy too!

Just a Swingin'...

Xander loves to SWING! Here are a few pictures of him swinging at the park over the weekend! It was a little chilly, but not to cold to swing!
Do we really have to go home? It is so hard to say "no" to that face!

It's Still A Girl!!!

Over the last few weeks, I have been doubting that we are having a girl because it just seems to good to be true, but yesterday, we had another sonogram and it is POSITIVELY a Girl!!! YAY! Everything looked perfect!!!! Xoie is doing great!! She weighs approx. 8oz and is 8 inches long. Wow! We are still working with Xander to say "Sister"...but as usual...it comes out "Bubba"! We still have awhile to work on that! Here are some pictures from our sonogram! Her profile looks so much like Xander's at 19 weeks it is crazy!

Xoie Lanae Robertson...This is her profile at 19 weeks! A beautiful baby girl!
This is her foot at 19 weeks! It is approx. 1 inch long! How cute is that?
